Doctor Mike McClure began pastoring at Thomasville Nazarene Church in January 2009. In 1995 Pastor Mike earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Drew University. From 1989 to 2008, Pastor Mike was full-time professor at John Wesley College and served as the Dept. Chair of Pastoral Ministries, as well as pastoring several area churches.
In all these endeavors, Sheila served as a gifted helper and parent. She has also planned several mission trips and currently teaches English as a Second Language at Randleman Middle School. She home educated our four boys through high school. All four are committed Christians, are called into full-time Christian service, and three serve in the TNC contemporary band.
Joshua graduated from John Wesley College as Valedictorian with a major in Christian Counseling, and has served for three years on the mission field. Jeremiah graduated with honors from John Wesley College with a Pastoral Ministry major, is married, has two daughters, and serves as Children’s Pastor at Pineville Church of the Nazarene. Jonathan graduated as Valedictorian from John Wesley College with a major in Pastoral Ministries, has been on many missions trips and serves as TNC worship pastor, band director, and prayer coordinator. Josiah has been on several mission trips and plays guitar and bass guitar for worship.
